About Anpo
Anpo is a newly established Indigenous-led organization that restores and protects our generational connections to our lands, languages, and cultures.

In our words, actions, and decision-making we strive to uphold and express the following values, which are deeply connected to our worldview as Indigenous Peoples.
Mitakuye Oyasin (“We are all related”)
We respect the interconnectedness of all living beings. We embrace and value the sacred relationships between all that surrounds us, in this lifetime and in and with generations past and future. We treat others with understanding and respect, knowing that every living and nonliving thing on earth has a purpose and is worthy of dignity, care, and support.
Trust as the foundation of our relationships
We cultivate meaningful and mutually empowered relationships with the Indigenous Nations, communities, organizations, and leaders we support. We stay true to our mission by aligning our organization with those who honor who we are, where we come from, and what we do.
Deep reverence for Indigenous wisdom, knowledge, and cultures
Our lands, languages, and cultures are sacred inheritances and so is our mission to regenerate and celebrate them. We are committed to supporting Indigenous Peoples in meaningful and transformative ways. Our words and actions embody the wisdom of those who have come before us and consider what is best for those who have yet to be born.
Sustainability and healing
We believe that sustainability is imperative: it is what we all need to heal and thrive. Our work aims to support traditional lifeways that benefit all living things.
